I have this bush in my backyard that has the most amazing leaves in fall. They actually turn an amazingĀ pinkish red. The picture below is actually a pretty accurate color on my monitor. It’s beautiful.
Just for fun though, I decided to throw the picture into Picnik’s AutoFix. This is what came out.
Perhaps Picnik decided that the leaves pink was bright enough that the greens had to be brighter. Just a reminder that autofix can make things better, but you can actually lose your natural color schemes in the process.
Anyone know what my pink leaved bush is? I’d love to know.
Here’s a couple more pictures of the plant.

I’m pretty sure that is a Burning Bush. They are not indigenious to NH and are no longer sold in NH. You can’t find them anywhere so don’t cut it down.
What a beautiful bush! I don’t really have much vegetation in my token yard and all the trees turned yellow and lost most of their leaves this week, so consider yourself lucky!
I really do consider myself lucky to have a whole forest around my house.
We have no plans to cut it down, especially now that you’ve told me that. It’s at the edge of our woods so I’m surprised that someone planted it there.
